Our database contains important information on the status of insurance companies and other insurance entities. Some are active, suspended or revoked. You must click on the entity's name to view its status. You can also call the Department to obtain information about complaints or enforcement actions involving particular licensees.

HINTS When searching for a name that includes the word "and", try using the "&" sign instead. Example: Adams Property & Casualty Company When searching for a name that includes initials, try with and without a space between each letter and also try with punctuation. Examples: ABC Insurance Company, A B C Insurance Company or A.B.C. Insurance Company Do not enter "The" as the first word in the name. Company names that begin with "The" will appear as shown below. Examples: Adamson Life Insurance Company (The) or Adamson Life Insurance Company, The To find "The Adamson Life Insurance Company" you would enter ADAMSON Be cautious of searching for a company whose name will sound similar to others that may or may not include an apostrophe ('). Try searching with and without an apostrophe and view the details for each matching selection to confirm the correct choice. Examples of similar sounding names: Employer's Insurance Company, Employers' Insurance Company or Employers Insurance Company
