Now there are new regulations, called “Director’s Orders” in effect. The measures were authorized by the Aquatic Invasive Species Interdiction Act in 2009 by the Arizona Legislature. Those boaters who do not follow the procedures outlined in the newly-created regulations can actually be cited by law enforcement officers.
