Flags are at full staff.

Ann Day

Governor Ducey has ordered that flags at all state office buildings remain lowered at half-staff in honor of Ann Day, a former state senator and Pima County supervisor, who was killed in a car accident on May 7.  Her funeral service is being held Saturday in Tucson.

 

Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset Sunday, May 15 in observance of National Peace Officers Memorial Day.

 

 

Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are encouraged to join in this tribute.

Navy SEAL Charlie Keating IV

Governor Ducey has ordered that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff starting at sunrise on Friday, May 13th, in honor of Navy SEAL Charlie Keating IV, a graduate of Arcadia High School in Phoenix, who was killed last week in an ISIS attack. His funeral will be held Friday in San Diego.

 

Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset on Sunday, May 15 due to additional orders from Governor Ducey for the interment of Ann Day (Saturday) and National Peace Officers Memorial Day (Sunday). Separate notifications for those events will be sent out Friday.

Navy SEAL Charlie Keating IV

Governor Ducey has ordered that all state flags be lowered to half-staff effective from sunrise and until sunset May 4, 2016, in honor of Navy SEAL Charlie Keating IV. Flags will be lowered again on the day of his interment, which will be announced at a later date.

Victims of the Attack in Brussels, Belgium

Governor Ducey, in coordination with President Obama's proclamation, has ordered that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff effective immediately and until sunset March 26, 2016, in honor of the victims of the attack in Brussels, Belgium.
