Flags are at full staff.
Governor Ducey has ordered that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset today, Friday, August 12, 2016, in honor of Border Patrol Agent Manuel Alvarez. Agent Alvarez was on duty last night at the Casa Grande station when he was killed in a traffic accident.
The Governor will again order that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff on the day of his interment. Arrangements are still pending and will be communicated as soon as possible.

Governor Ducey, in coordination with President Obama's proclamation, has ordered that flags at all state buildings remain lowered to half-staff until sunset on Friday, July 22, 2016, in honor of the victims of the attack in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The flags originally were to be raised on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 but will now stay lowered until Friday at sunset.
