Flags are at full staff.

Governor Ducey has ordered flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, January 27th for the interment of Army Specialist Robert W. Jones of Vail, Arizona who died while on assignment in Kosovo. 

Individuals and businesses are encouraged to participate in this tribute.

Governor Ducey has ordered that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Wednesday, January 10, 2018 to honor the life of Specialist Robert W. Jones, of Vail, Arizona, who died Saturday while on assignment in Kosovo. Specialist Jones was a member of the 18th Military Police Brigade, of the United States Army, based in Germany.  

Flags will also be flown at half-staff on the day of his interment which will be communicated as soon as possible.

In coordination with the Presidential Proclamation, Governor Doug Ducey has ordered flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Thursday, December 7, 2017. This day marks the 76th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor and memorializes the thousands of Americans that died in the raid.

In coordination with the Presidential Proclamation, Governor Doug Ducey has ordered flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff effective immediately, until sunset Thursday, November 9, 2017 to honor the victims of the senseless tragedy in Sutherland Springs, Texas.
