Flags are at full staff.

Governor Ducey has ordered all flags lowered to half-staff effective immediately until sunset today Monday, May 8th, 2017 in honor of U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agent Edgard Garcia who was killed Friday in a car accident. 

 Businesses, individuals, and other organizations are encouraged to participate in this tribute.

In coordination with the Presidential Proclamation, all flags should be lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Thursday, April 6th, 2017 for the final interment of John Glenn. Glenn, who died in December, will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery.

Governor Ducey has ordered flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff effective immediately until sunset tomorrow in honor of Navajo Nation Officer Houston James Largo.

Officer Largo was killed in the line of duty while seeking to keep others safe.  His tragic loss reminds us of the dangers faced by law enforcement officers every time they put on the uniform. Our state mourns with the Navajo Nation for this fallen hero, and our deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

In coordination with the Presidential Proclamation, all flags should be lowered to half-staff effective immediately in honor of John Glenn. The flags will remain at half-staff until the day of his interment which will be communicated as soon as it is announced.

In observance of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, Governor Doug Ducey has ordered that flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. This day marks the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor and memorializes the thousands of veterans and families affected by the bombing.
