Governor Brewer previously ordered that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in honor of SSgt. Hammar who died on July 14, 2012 in Khost province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are encouraged to join in this tribute.
