Governor Katie Hobbs ordered flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, in remembrance of the nearly 3,000 innocent men and women who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Hobbs issued the following statement: “Today we’re remembering the 2,977 people we lost on 9/11. We honor each of them today, and our thoughts are with their families and communities. On this somber day, let’s reflect on what unites as Americans.”

Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are encouraged to join in this tribute.
