Governor Katie Hobbs has ordered flags at all state buildings to be lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset on June 16 in honor of Officer Gabriel Facio’s funeral and procession. 

Officer Facio, a three-year veteran of the Apache Junction Police Department, passed away on June 8 after being shot in the line of duty on June 2. 

Individuals, businesses and other organizations are encouraged to join in this tribute.
