Governor Doug Ducey today ordered flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Monday, June 6, in honor of White Mountain Apache Police Officer Adrian Lopez.

Officer Lopez was killed in the line of duty Thursday night after being shot while making a traffic stop in Whiteriver, Arizona.

In this time of mourning, our prayers are with Officer Lopez’s wife, child and loved ones as well as the White Mountain Apache Tribe.”
