Governor Brewer has ordered that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Saturday, October 13, 2012 in honor of SSgt. Sparks. Governor Brewer previously ordered that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Friday, September 28th, in honor of Staff Sgt. Sparks who died September 26th in Logar Province, Afghanistan. Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are encouraged to join in this tribute.
