Governor Katie Hobbs ordered flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff on Thursday, May 15, in honor of National Peace Officers Memorial Day and Police Week. 

Governor Hobbs issued the following statement: 

“Together, we remember the peace officers in Arizona and across the country who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage and service will not be forgotten. Let’s honor them by upholding the ideals they defended.”

Individuals, businesses and other organizations are encouraged to join in these tributes.
