Governor Brewer has ordered that flags at state office buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in honor of Sheriff Dever. Governor Brewer previously ordered that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Wednesday, September 19, in honor of Cochise County Sheriff Larry Albert Dever who was killed in a car crash near the Town of Williams on September 18th. Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are encouraged to join in this tribute.
