Governor Brewer has ordered that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Saturday, May 25, 2013 in honor of Phoenix Police Officer Daryl Raetz. Governor Brewer previously ordered the flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset Sunday, May 19th in honor of Phoenix Police Officer Daryl Raetz, who was killed when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver during the processing of a suspected impaired motorist.  Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are encouraged to join in this tribute.
