Governor Katie Hobbs has ordered flags at all state buildings lowered to half-staff from sunrise until noon on Memorial Day, May 26, in honor of all service members who have died for our country. The flag should then be raised to full staff at noon to honor all veterans.

Governor Hobbs issued the following statement: 

“On Memorial Day, we honor our fallen heroes and remember with profound gratitude the sacrifices they made in both war and times of peace. May these Americans inspire us every day to live our lives in service of others and dedicated to the cause of freedom.”

Individuals, businesses and other organizations are encouraged to join in this tribute.
